As previously reported, the WWE Universal Championship Match at Wrestlemania 35 between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins was actually supposed to occur later on the card. It was stated to take place before the main event.
According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar and Heyman pushed the match to go on early. The belief was that the match would have a much better reaction earlier in the night then towards the end. This marked the first time Brock Lesnar competed in the opening match at Wrestlemania.
As noted Wrestlemania 35 was the longest pay-per-view in company history.
