There has been some speculation on the direction WWE would decide to take Brock Lesnar heading into the showcase of the immortals, WrestleMania 39. The running theory is that Lesnar is once again going one-on-one with Bobby Lashley, who eliminated the Beast from the men’s Royal Rumble match this past weekend. According to a new report from Wrestling Observer Radio, the next chapter in this rivalry may be written in a few short weeks at Elimination Chamber.
It was reported that Lesnar is currently “on the cards” for the pay-per-view event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on February 18 with Lashley potentially being his opponent. The Beast Incarnate competed inside the Elimination Chamber last year and won the WWE Championship after delivering a vicious F-5 to Austin Theory from the top of one of the pods.
WWE Elimination Chamber is looking to be quite the newsworthy show as recent reports suggest that Sami Zayn will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the event. Also, WWE announced that Austin Theory will defend his United States Championship in the Elimination Chamber match.
