WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch is looking for a new lawyer due to losing her old one and her severe financial situation.
Sytch is facing several charges, most notably a DUI Manslaughter charge for her role in a three-car collision that resulted in the death of Julian Lasseter.
Pwinsider reports that Sytch filed a petition on Thursday seeking criminal indigent status, which means she is unable to afford a lawyer for her defense and is asking for a public defender. The public defender is a free attorney that is given to defendants who are broke.
In her filing, Sytch claims to only have $2,500 in her bank account and $28,000 in outstanding debts.
Sytch’s previous lawyer, Steve deLaRoche was granted his request to withdraw from the case last week.
