AEW Superstar Bryan Danielson was very pleased with his performance on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.

As many of you know, he faced off against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a non-title match that ended in a 30-minute time limit draw. Some have called the match one of the greatest televised wrestling matches in several decades. Danielson took a moment to comment on the match via Twitter on Thursday, saying,

“When you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. Thank you to the incredible fans in NY last night, thank you to @AEW and it’s wrestlers for putting in the work to make last night possible. #gratitude”

Also, TBS, TNT and TruTV General Manager Brett Weitz is very pleased with the success of AEW Rampage, which airs Friday nights on TNT at 10PM EST. During an interview with Variety, Weitz spoke about Rampage and also “Rhodes To The Top”, a new reality series covering the lives of Cody and Brandi Rhodes from behind the scenes in AEW, as well as their personal lives through the birth of their baby girl. He said,

“The second series from AEW on TNT, Rampage has just been killing it in the ratings. We knew when Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling came to us just over two years ago with the mantra of ‘a show by wrestlers for wrestling fans’ that they had something special, but none of us knew how deeply the fans would respond and crave more programming. To that end, I would also say, ‘don’t sleep on Rhodes to the Top’ – a new unscripted series for TNT featuring top AEW talent Brandi and Cody Rhodes outside of the ring. So, I guess no sleep for you all?”
