AEW star Buddy Matthews has reacted to an awkward interaction between Aalyah and Rhea Ripley during this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.
On RAW, Rey Mysterio celebrated the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut in a segment involving his family and fellow Superstars.
At one point, Aalyah, who was Matthews’ on-screen girlfriend, and Ripley, the AEW star’s real-life current girlfriend, had a tense moment.
On Twitter, the House of Black member said they could fight for his custody in a ladder match, a nod to Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero from SummerSlam 2005.
Ripley replied, sharing a gif of someone scaling a ladder incredibly quickly.
