During a recent interview with Fightful, Buddy Murphy commented on his finisher (Murphy’s Law) and waiting for six years before he finally debuted it in WWE. You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On getting moved to 205 Live and then SmackDown! Live: “It’s awesome, man. I felt like in NXT I didn’t get the opportunities I wanted or deserved. I was in a tough spot, man. I was on the top of the world with Wesley, with the championships and we unfortunately lost those and I was lost in the dark and lost in the abyss. Then the 205 thing happened and I had a chip on my shoulder to prove. So, the 205 option came up that chip on my shoulder it drove me to do wild things, I’m very happy with what I brought forward to 205. I think 205 is a great brand is probably the best wrestling hour the WWE has. I wish all those guys could eventually come up to Smackdown, we can mix it up again.”

On Murphy’s Law: “Yes, I do. The first time I ever hit it, I was against Johnny Gargano in Corpus Christie at an NXT live event. It was always one of those things I had in my back pocket. I got a lot of stuff in my back pocket ‘cause I was always told to hold onto it. ‘Cause if you do it and then you don’t continue to do it, someone else will see it, and then they’ll take it. So, that was my mentality. So I’ve been sitting on that for literally, probably six years. It was sitting in my back pocket. As well as the hammerlock DDT and guess who does that? Andrade does that now. But, I sat on it for too long so it wasn’t mine. That’s the crappy part.”
