Bully Ray believes AEW would be foolish to not reunite Christian Cage & Adam Copeland following the latter’s debut at AEW WrestleDream.
At last weekend’s event, Copeland arrived in AEW and teased aligning with Christian before attacking Cage’s allies Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne.
Despite the segment making it clear that Cage and Copeland aren’t allies, Bully Ray said on “Busted Open Radio” that a reunion of the former Edge & Christian must happen. He said,
“It’s a no-brainer that wrestling fans would like to see Edge and Christian on the same page again. And I think wrestling fans are going to be clamoring for the day that they can see Edge and Christian standing across the ring from The Hardys one more time … You don’t have to get to that for quite some time — to think that you have that in your back pocket and you can play that hand in a year down the road, provided everyone stays healthy.”
Bully Ray added that Copeland should remain a singles star for his first year with AEW before aligning with Cage.
