WWE and Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Bully Ray is confident that Vince McMahon acted within the law regarding his alleged affair with a paralegal.
McMahon is being investigated by the board of directors over claims he arranged a $3 million ‘hush money’ payment to an employee he allegedly had a physical relationship with.
The paralegal signed a $100,000 per year contract in 2019, which allegedly rose to $200,000 when the relationship began.
On the latest Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray discussed the McMahon controversy saying:
“They came up with an agreement, a financial settlement, and she signed a non-disclosure agreement, that says all parties involved agreed on a price in which this lady wouldn’t talk about this affair with Vince McMahon.
“If the money came out of Vince McMahon’s own personal pocket, I don’t think he did anything legally wrong. I’m not a lawyer, I don’t know, but I don’t think he did anything legally wrong. However, if the money came out of the pockets of WWE, then, yes, I’m sure there’s going to be an issue.”
There has so far been no evidence that McMahon used WWE funds for this alleged affair.
