The wrestling world was abuzz following this past week’s episode of Dynamite, where AEW World Champion CM Punk seemingly went off-script in his show-opening promo. Punk dropped an off-the-cuff callout to Hangman Adam Page, and Page did not appear in response. Putting forth his thoughts on the backstage heat generated by the segment was Bully Ray.
Speaking on his Busted Open Radio podcast, alongside Mark Henry, Bully Ray submitted some suggestions on how the situation ought to be handled.

On how the situation should be handled: “This is up to Tony Khan now. He holds the pencil. It’s up to him to get these people in a room and, first and foremost, help to iron out every difference and set the record straight and go, ‘Guys, we’re doing business here. Our business is in the best interest of anybody, not just one person. We can’t go into business for ourselves.’”
On how he would have answered a similar situation: “Just like Mark said, at least come through the tunnel. That’s all Page would have to have done. Come out through the tunnel, put his hands in the air and go, ‘I’m here.’”
On Page’s reaction to the segment: “It’s not Page’s fault for not going out there because he is probably being taken off-guard in the back, but I’ll be damned, when Punk came back through that curtain, if I wasn’t the first one waiting on that side to welcome him and greet him so we can have a nice, polite, gentlemanly conversation.”
