It looks like Cain Velasquez has been pulled from WWE’s upcoming Mexico live event. WWE’s Spanish Twitter account shared an updated card for the show, which no longer features Velasquez.
He was initially listed to team up with Rey Mysterio against Drew McIntyre and Andrade. On the new card, Mysterio teams up with Humberto Carillo to take on Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Velasquez is still listed as appearing, however. He will just likely no longer be getting physical.
This comes shortly after reports that Velasquez and Brock Lesnar’s match at WWE Crown Jewel was cut short due to the former UFC champ’s knee issues.
