It appears that we haven’t seen the last of Cain Velasquez in AAA.
According to a new report from Wrestling Inc, Velasquez has reached a verbal agreement with the 30-year-old lucha libre company. Velasquez worked for the promotion this past weekend in Tempe, Arizona for what was believed to be one night only. However, the report states that the retired mixed martial artist will appear in AAA for at least five more dates.
Velasquez is currently awaiting a trial date on attempted murder charges, stemming from shooting the passenger of a car that he was chasing that was being driven by an individual accused of sexually abusing Velasquez’s son.
