As reported earlier this week, UFC fighter Cain Velasquez has been taking his pro wrestling debut “very seriously” and in spite of his various MMA-related injuries. The UFC fighter has been training in San Jose at the Pro Wrestling Revolution school with Vinnie Massaro. Velasquez will debut tonight at Triplemania XXVII, teaming with Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown against Black Taurus, Texano Jr and a mystery opponent.
During an interview on Saturday, Velasquez revealed that he has two more matches with AAA after this. There is no word on what those matches are as of this writing but in the past, he’s said that he’s hoping to appear at the upcoming shows at Madison Square Garden and the Forum in Los Angeles.
