As noted last night here on eWn, WWE has granted Andrade his release from the company. According to a report from Fightful, many people were surprised to hear about the news as they were under the impression his request would not be “immediately granted.” Obviously, WWE had a change of heart over the past week or so.
We reported earlier today that Andrade does not have a 90-day non-compete clause. That means he can wrestle anywhere starting today. He will also be able to use the name ‘Andrade’, but not the additional ‘Cien Almas’ that he used in NXT. He could also go back to using ‘La Sombra’, but he can use Andrade if he wants to.
