During Saturday night’s WWE NXT 2.0 ‘In Your House’ pay-per-view event, Carmelo Hayes defeated Cameron Grimes to capture the NXT North American Championship.
In a lengthy match that featured Trick Williams getting involved, Grimes missed a dive into the corner. That’s when Hayes hit a leg drop off the top rope to pick up the win and become new champion.
The win marks Hayes’ second reign as NXT North American Champion. Cameron Grimes’ reign ends at 62 days.
