Cash Wheeler has shared high praise for WWE’s Bayley and NJPW’s Mercedes Moné, calling the pair two of the best wrestlers in years.
In WWE, Bayley and Moné feuded in NXT and on the main roster but also teamed together as the Boss ‘n Hug Connection.
During an appearance at the “For the Love of Wrestling” convention in England, Wheeler had nothing but positive things to say about the pair. He said,
“I think that Bayley and Mercedes both have been some of the best wrestlers — not just women wrestlers — some of the best wrestlers on the planet over the past five, six, seven, eight years, whatever.”
Wheeler added that it blew his mind to recently learn that the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions have studied FTR’s matches to learn how to improve.
Bayley, Moné, and FTR are known to be close, with Bayley and the AEW tag team traveling to Japan in January to watch Mercedes’ debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
