Cash Wheeler is having the run of his career right now with his tag team partner Dax Harwood. But things didn’t always go so smoothly for the pair.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Wheeler responded to a fan who had posted highlights of The Revival fighting Shinksuke Nakamura and Hideo Itami (KENTA). Wheeler pointed out that he broke his jaw at one point in the bout, and that the extended absence hurt the duo during their WWE main roster run.
Wheeler stated,
“This video where I take the GTS is the moment I broke my jaw. 10 days after our Raw debut. Had it wired shut for six weeks and missed about two months. I think that was biggest downfall for our main roster time.”

FTR is currently enjoying a hiatus from AEW. Recently, they lost the Ring of Honor tag team titles to The Briscoes at December’s Final Battle pay-per-view event.
