Cathy Kelley was recently a guest on “Better Together” with Maria Menounos to talk about several topics.
Here are the highlights:
What she learned from her time at WWE:
I think I learned so much in my years that I was in Los Angeles producing my own content to being at WWE the last few years and really learning how to host something, because before I was doing these freeform podcast shows or doing videos that I had written myself. So to learn how to do things on the fly, to learn how to retain information with very little time, those are things I wouldn’t learn otherwise.
Why she decided to leave WWE:
I want to create and be an executive producer on a show one day, I want to write a book, I want to write a screenplay, I want to continue to grow as a host, get into acting, there’s so many things that I want to do, and I think especially with the WWE schedule, it’s so time-consuming because you are traveling so much, being me, I wanted to do everything so I wanted to work as much as possible, which also meant being away from Los Angeles which I just moved to, and that wouldn’t have allowed me to continue to do the other things or work on the other things that I wanted to do.
