During a recent interview with The Wrap, WWE women’s wrestler Charlotte discussed the WWE Draft and more. Regarding the Draft, she said,
“I really don’t have a preference because I truly believe both brands will have to elevate their game to be the top show. If I’m on ‘Smackdown’ I want to be better than ‘Raw.’ If I’m on ‘Raw’ I want to be better than ‘Smackdown.’ And there’s going to be six people from NXT, and people we maybe haven’t seen in a while are going to have more opportunities, so it’s going to exciting all around.”
As Andy reported earlier today here on eWN, WWE will release their second quarter financial report next Thursday. The company announced today that the report, which as usual will include the updated count of WWE Network subscribers, will be released on July 28th. Vince McMahon and George Barrios will host the traditional conference call the same morning discussing the report.
The previous announced Network count came the day after WrestleMania and included 1.82 million total subscribers between paid and trials.
