WWE alumni Chavo Guerrero recently criticized Rey Mysterio for ‘prostituting’ the name of his uncle and late WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero.
However, Chavo is now saying that his statements were just him playing the character of a true heel.
Taking to Twitter, Chavo wrote, “This is how a heel should tweet. Hook, line & sinker….I still got it.”
For what it’s worth, if you watched the original video where Chavo made the comments, he appeared to be dead serious and it now appears he’s backtracking. But we’ll let you be the judge of that.

Following Eddie’s death in 2005, Chavo dropped the Kerwin White gimmick and began wrestling under his real name as a babyface.
On June 25, 2011, at his request, Chavo was released by WWE, ending his 10-year tenure with the company.
