Chavo Guerrero hopes that directing will be the next step in his career in entertainment after taking on multiple roles in the past.
While best known for his wrestling, Guerrero has worked as a wrestling stunt coordinator on several projects including Netflix’s GLOW and the A24 biopic The Iron Claw.
On a recent edition of the “Insight” podcast, Guerrero spoke about working as a coordinator for The Iron Claw and hopes to be directing soon. He said,
“Eventually I’m going to direct. That’s where I’m going. I follow directors all the time on different movies and really kind of watch and study how they do it. That’s my next role, is directing. That’s really where I’m going.”
Guerrero worked closely with Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White during the making of The Iron Claw. The Von Erich biopic will be released later this month.
