UPDATE: WWE will be represented at
this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, as Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan, Paul Heyman and
Michael Cole are hosting a WWE Mattel panel to reveal new action figures and
Network content.
Sting has made his first appearance for WWE at the
event. He was there in full makeup as a surprise guest for the panel.
ORIGINAL: Another day, another
Sting update.
While TMZ previously reported that Sting signed a
promotional contract with WWE but not a wrestling contract, this is not entirely
true. TMZ actually confused Sting’s deal with 2K Sports for the WWE 2K15 video
game with an actual WWE deal. As of Wednesday (yesterday) morning, Sting still
hadn’t officially signed with the company, but they are working on it and expect
it to happen soon.
