Chelsea Green and Impact Wrestling have officially parted ways.
During Thursday night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Green lost a match to Mickie James. On her way out of the arena, Green told Deonna Purrazzo that she was “going home,” mimicking James’ own comments when she announced her “Last Rodeo” tour. According to a report from Pwinsider, the angle was done as a way to write Green off television. This was said to have been her farewell segment for the company.
After she was released from WWE in April 2021, Green briefly appeared for Ring of Honor. She then returned to Impact Wrestling in July of 2021.
As we’ve been been reporting here on eWn, WWE is interested in bringing Green back to the company. As of this writing, there is no word on if a deal has been reached.
