Chris Jericho is tired of never getting credit for ‘carrying’ Chyna during their 1999 feud.
Upon joining the WWF, one of Jericho’s first feuds was against Chyna, the Intercontinental Champion at the time.
On a recent True Geordie podcast episode, Jericho recalled working with the Ninth Wonder of the World, who he called “terrible.”
“She was terrible to work with. She wasn’t good, but she thought she was. She also was in a position where they were pushing her really big that she could beat up guys. She couldn’t.
“I never got that credit [for carrying her]. No one ever once said, ‘You’re making her look good.’ It was the other side of the coin.”
Chyna had two runs as Intercontinental Champion and held the WWF Women’s Title before leaving in 2001.
Chyna died in 2016 and was posthumously inducted into he WWE Hall of Fame as part of D-Generation X in 2019.
