Chris Jericho tweeted the following today, noting that the “Stadium Stampede” match at tonight’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view was one of the best things he’s been a part of in his 30 years in the wrestling. He said,
“The #StadiumStampede is one of the best things I’ve ever been a part of in my 30 years in the wrestling business. No joke…don’t miss it LIVE on PPV TONIGHT! @AEWrestling”
As reported earlier, there is a lot of internal excitement within AEW for tonight’s Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. The company taped the match overnight, with filming wrapping up around 5AM this morning. This was done to avoid having dead air as the wrestlers made their way to different areas of the stadium.
The match will feature a ring at the 50 yard line of TIAA Bank Field but the match will take place all over the stadium. There are a lot of fun spots and creative things that were done during the taping of the match. Everyone involved with the production were extremely proud of how it came together.
