It is the era of celebrity presidents as Y2J calls it and I can’t help but agree with him. As Dwayne Johnson and Kayne West both seem more and more serious every day about running for president, Jericho was asked on Larry King what his thoughts were regarding his friend, The Rock running for office as well as if he thinks Johnson would be able to handle the job. Jericho’s response was,
“Absolutely. We live in a world now, I call it ‘The era of the celebrity President’. It started with Obama a little bit, and now with Trump. No previous experience, knows how to work a camera, knows how to be charismatic. That’s what you need to be the President now. We’ve already established that. You don’t have to be a [politician]”
Clearly, Jericho thinks Rocky can get the job done. Despite the fact that Johnson admits he has lots to learn about administration before running, after the election of Trump, never say never when it comes to presidential elections.
