Christian Cage Teases AEW World Title Feud With Kenny Omega

At AEW Revolution on Sunday night, Christian Cage was revealed to be the huge debut, as he officially signed a long-term contract with the company.

On Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite broadcast, Kenny Omega, The Good Brothers and Don Callis all came out to cut a promo, addressing the botched explosion. Prior to the in-ring segment, Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley had made a mockery of them and the dud explosion that occurred. Kingston eventually came out and got in Omega’s face. Omega gave Kingston a free shot and Kingston took it. A brawl ensued, as The Good Brothers jumped Kingston.

Moxley would run down to make the save, then Christian Cage’s music hit. As Christian hit the ring, he had a stare down with Omega that led into a “Killswitch” attempt by Cage before Omega was pulled out of the ring by Callis. Cage was left in the ring alone, as he picked up the AEW World Championship and held it high in the air, teasing a potential feud with Omega.
