During Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage was cutting a promo when he was interrupted by Frankie Kazarian.
Kazarian spoke about Cage’s t-shirt which read, “Out Work Everyone” and became a bit offended by it, asking Cage when he will be starting the “work” part. Cage responded by saying that he will begin his “work” next Wednesday on Dynamite and threw a challenge out to Kazarian. Kazarian shook Cage’s hand and accepted the challenge. This is going to be Christian’s first wrestling match (singles match) since wrestling for WWE in 2014.
Christian’s last in-ring appearance came as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match in January 2021. This was his last WWE appearance before signing with AEW several weeks ago at AEW Revolution.
