As we’ve noted, former WWE Women’s Champion and Intercontinental Champion Chyna will finally go into the WWE Hall Of Fame. Its been announced that “The Ninth Wonder Of The World” will be inducted alongside her fellow D-Generation X stablemates. Fans have been calling for Chyna to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame for several years.
Now, it’s finally happening. Chyna’s mother, Jan LaQue, spoke to Pro Wrestling Sheet about the news. Here’s what she had to say:
“I am absolutely thrilled. And so is my husband. We have been invited to the ceremony and will be so proud to be there and celebrate this awesome occasion. She certainly earned this, to say the least.”
Chyna (real name Joan Laurer) passed away in April of 2016. She was found dead in her Redondo Beach, California home at 46-years-old. Her official cause of death was ruled as an accidental drug overdose by local police.
