According to a report from Fightful, after last night’s episode of WWE Backstage the WWE on FOX Twitter account shared a post-show clip showing The Miz having his microphone removed.
The Miz then said, “We are now done with WWE backstage, they’re taking the microphones off of me, it was great.” Christian then chimed in and joked that, “thankfully,” the show was over. The Miz then replied with “What do you mean, thankfully? I feel like it was the best WWE Backstage ever. What do you mean in or around (the best ever), name one that was better.”
Renee Young eventually mentioned the WWE Backstage episode from November, which featured Ember Moon, and was also the first full show in which CM Punk was on the panel. The Miz then replied with, “Sorry I didn’t change the culture, my bad!”
This seemed to be a jab at Punk’s line in which he said he was going to “change the culture.” The clip has since been deleted, however, Punk saw it before, and offered the following response on Twitter.
“Go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia you fucking dork.“
Punk has since deleted his Tweet as well.
