Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 39.
Rhodes made his big return from injury by winning the 30-Man Royal Rumble match last month.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rhodes is a huge draw for the company.
Before Rhodes was added to house shows this past weekend, WWE sold around 2500 tickets for each show in Columbus, SC and Pensacola, FL. Once he was advertised, they did record gates in each city with around 6,000 people in attendance.
WWE usually doesn’t draw those kind of numbers for live events. Rhodes was also the number one merchandise seller at the 2023 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
