During the main event of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Cody Rhodes defeated Andrade El Idolo in a brutal Atlanta Street Fight.
During the match, we saw flaming tables, trash cans, chairs, a sledgehammer and a golden shovel used.
The match ended when Brandi Rhodes came out and lit a table on fire with lighter fluid. Cody then put himself and El Idolo through it. After the spot, Cody Rhodes’ arms and back were literally on fire as the lighter fluid continued to burn on his body but he still managed to cover El Idolo for the pinfall. It was scary to watch and he looked to be in a lot of pain following the pin.
For what it’s worth, the FITE.tv feed cut out during parts of the main event, going to a green screen. By the end of the show, the feed was back online.
