Cody Rhodes Seemingly Reacts To Kevin Owens’ Tribute To Dusty Rhodes

Cody Rhodes was pleased to see one of Dusty Rhodes’ ‘kids’ representing the American Dream at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.

For the main event of the show, Kevin Owens wore a shirt featuring Dusty, who is credited as the inventor of the WarGames match.

On Twitter, Cody spoke about how while he is the biological son of Dusty, the WWE Hall of Famer had many ‘kids’ in wrestling who he taught. He said,

“Ha at home, he was all ours But in the sport, he’s got a lot more kids So many folks he started/mentored & all the concepts he created still being used fought through a decade of bad press from some rags, but seeing his fingerprints and genius shine from the grave is special.”

Team Brutes, which consisted of Owens, Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, and Drew McIntyre, lost to the Bloodline in the Men’s WarGames match.

Cody has been out with a torn pectoral injury since June though many are considering him a favorite to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
