AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter following last night’s Dynamite broadcast. He said,
“Live next week with one of our best #AEWDynamite cards ever!”
Khan also noted that Cody Rhodes will be facing another top independent wrestler next week. He said,
“Great matches, a massive card on #AEWDynamite next Wednesday, + in addition to those 4 matches, once again, @CodyRhodes will defend the TNT Championship vs. one of the top independent wrestlers in the world. Thank you to everyone who watched tonight & next week will be great too!”
Cody defeated Eddie Kingston on last night’s AEW Dynamite broadcast. It’s worth noting that none of the recently released WWE Superstars could appear on last night’s show as it was taped last week and their no-compete clauses hadn’t expired at the time of the TV tapings.
