Former college football star Kash Daniel received a WWE tryout under Vince McMahon’s regime.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Daniel, who was a linebacker at the University of Kentucky, received a tryout from Canyon Ceman under the previous regime. The young athlete, however, rejected the offer.
The report states that according to those within WWE, Daniel still had aspirations of playing in the NFL at the time he was offered the tryout. The belief was that Daniel wanted to exhaust his options in pro football before making the switch to WWE. At this point, it’s unclear if the tryout is still available under Triple H’s new regime.
Daniel remained undrafted in 2020 and is still looking for a team.
Daniel is friends with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and the friendship will likely benefit the youngster should he pursue a WWE career.
