Attention. In the last hours there has been a strong rumor that points out that Primo and Epico would have requested his release from WWE. Apparently, the Puerto Ricans are already thinking about their post-WWE stage.

It all started when today’s Thursday, June 29, 2017, the official Twitter account of Pro Wrestling Tees, a US company dedicated to the design and sale of official merchandise of independent wrestlers, revealed a new shirt for the Orlando wrestler Colón, real name of who at the moment interprets Epico in WWE. As many know, while a wrestler is under contract with WWE, all merchandise that is designed and sold under his character is in charge of WWE and the fighter only receives a monthly bonus with an economic percentage according to the sales made by his Image and brand. No Superstar can put merchandise on sale, and unless you are not at WWEShop.com, the official store of the company.

For now there is little information, but the rumor that takes more force indicates that both Primo and Epic, who are cousins in real life, would have tired of the few opportunities in WWE at both individual and team level, Most recent stalled months in WWE SmackDown Live’s pauper’s matchup.

In the last years three rumors had arisen on the reasons why WWE did not dismiss these fighters if it used them very few and the same, as theory, could be true:

* That Vince McMahon had them in the company to “mold” Carlos Colón and have him sell his video library.
* That were a fundamental piece for relations with Carlos Colón, the promoter who buys WWE shows in Puerto Rico, rents the arena, sells the tickets and presents the show.
* That was a way to make Carlito, brother of Primo, change his mind and decided to return to WWE.

For now, no gladiator or Carlos Colón, owner of WWC in Puerto Rico and father of Primo, have spoken about it, but we will be reporting here in SUPER STRUGGLES.
