Former WWE Superstar Colt Cabana sent out a tweet on Tuesday, revealing that he’ll be missing his scheduled appearance at the “Compound Pro Wrestling” event this Friday night due to the ongoing lawsuit against CM Punk and himself. Cabana was set to appear at the “Cabanaramma” event in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday.
As many of you know by now, Cabana is a defendant in the lawsuit filed by WWE doctor Chris Amann. Doctor Amann is suing Cabana and Punk for defamation over some comments CM Punk made on Colt Cabana’s podcast back in November of 2014.
I’m sorry to the fans of @Compoundpw.
Due to mandatory court obligations I’ll be unable to attend the show this Friday…
I’ll still be in NY for @ringofhonor doing commentary though.
Thanks.— Colt Cabana (@ColtCabana) May 29, 2018
