UPDATE: The XFL sent out the following statement, confirming that their inaugural season is being suspended due to the coronavirus. The company promises they will be back next season. You can read their statement below:
Currently, the XFL will not be playing its regular-season games. However, all players will be paid their base pay and benefits for the 2020 regular season. All XFL ticket holders will be issued refunds or credit toward future games. The XFL is committed to playing a full season in 2021 and future years.

ORIGINAL: According to Konnor Fulk of XFL News Hub, the XFL will be suspending their season due to the Coronavirus. This comes after the NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS and others have all suspended their seasons. The NCAA “March Madness” tournament has been cancelled and NASCAR will run their upcoming races without fans in attendance.
While no official XFL announcement has been made as of this writing, it’s expected to happen shortly.
