In a report provided by Fightful, it would appear that Tessa Blanchard’s Impact Wrestling contract came with a special clause. Tessa’s Impact contract had a disparagement clause, something that is common among wrestlers working for small organizations (such as the NWA, for example).
Tessa’s contract has no “non-compete” clause, which means as of today (June 30th) she is free to negotiate and sign a contract with any other wrestling organization. Tessa has already been in talks with WWE, who appears to be the likely candidate for the former Impact World Heavyweight Champion.
