WWE RAW Commentator Corey Graves has lauded praise on the Briscoes, calling Jay and Mark arguably the greatest unsung tag team in history.
This week, Jay Briscoe was killed in a car accident minutes from his home in Laurel, Delaware.
Speaking on the latest After the Bell, Graves, who competed with the Briscoes during his in-ring career, spoke about the Briscoes.
“An elite-level tag team. In my opinion, maybe the greatest unsung tag-team this business has ever known.”
Graves also spoke about Jay’s character as a person, saying it is a “rarity” in wrestling for those in the industry to have nothing but good things to say about an individual.
The Briscoes held the ROH World Tag Team Championships on 13 occasions, while Jay also held the ROH World Championship twice.
Jay’s daughters, who were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, have received surgery and are said to be in stable condition.
