On a recent edition of the “After the Bell” podcast, WWE broadcaster Corey Graves reflected on the passing of the late Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda).
Wyatt died of a heart attack while asleep at his home on August 24, 2023, at the age of 36.
Graves noted that he “fell apart” upon hearing the news of Wyatt’s demise and needed to call his therapist. He said,
“He took the constructs of being a WWE Superstar and turned it on its head in a way that, I think, will be felt for years to come. He sort of opened this door from a creative aspect within our business that had never been opened before.”
WWE Payback 2023 took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
However, Pittsburgh native and Steelers fan, Dr. Britt Baker wasn’t happy with some anti-Steelers behavior during the show.
During Finn Balor and Damian Priest’s Undisputed Tag Team Title match against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, Balor stomped on a Steelers towel.
Baker addressed the incident, tweeting,
“Wait….. WHO stomped on the terrible towel?!!! ”
