During Monday night’s episode of RAW, former WWE Superstar Joe Hennig (Curtis Axel) made his return.
Henning was part of a group of WWE officials who helped break up the brawl between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Henning hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since February 28, 2020 on an episode of SmackDown, where he was defeated by Daniel Bryan in a singles contest.
He was released shortly thereafter in April of that year.
Henning worked a tryout for the role of producer on SmackDown. He also reportedly worked with Tyson Kidd to produce a women’s bout between Liv Morgan and Sasha Banks.
