Dana White: Brock Lesnar Made ‘Right Decision’ Retiring from MMA

Brock Lesnar has seemingly retired from mixed martial arts (MMA) competition and will remain with the WWE for the foreseeable future. Lesnar was initially expected to face Daniel Cormier for the UFC heavyweight title this summer. However, no deal could be reached for the superfight.

Speaking on an Instagram Live video recently, White was asked if he was “pissed” that Lesnar decided not to return to the UFC. White suggested he wasn’t upset at all, and actually believes Lesnar made the right call hanging up his gloves for good (H/T LowKickMMA for the quotes):

“I wasn’t pissed at all,” White said. “Brock had a good run here. It’s been fun. Listen to fight in this business you have to be 100 percent invested. You’ve got to be in. It’s not where his head was. He made the right decision.”
