As many of you know by now, there has been a lot of speculation regarding Daniel Bryan’s WWE future after his contract expired several weeks ago. With that being said, WWE recently removed a reference of Bryan from WALTER during a recent edition of the After the Bell with Corey Graves podcast. During the interview, WALTER said,
“When I first got into watching other wrestling than WWE, I was watching a lot of Ring of Honor. A lot of those guys are the top guys in WWE right now, so Daniel Bryan would be one of the matches I’d really want to do.”
In addition to Daniel Bryan, WALTER mentioned Finn Balor and Cesaro as opponents he’d like to face. When WWE posted the interview on YouTube, WALTER’s reference to Daniel Bryan had been removed. It should be noted that his comments about Balor and Cesaro were still featured.
As of this writing, WALTER’s Daniel Bryan reference is still on the podcast itself but it’s not featured in the YouTube clip.
