According to a report from Pwinsider, the lawsuit over Randy Orton and 2K Games surrounding the usage of Orton’s tattoos has a new trial date. After multiple delays, the new trial date is set for September 20, 2021 at 9AM before the U.S. District Court Southern District of Illinois (East St. Louis). Originally, the date was set for February 16th before being delayed again to September.

Tattoo artist Catherine Alexander filed the lawsuit with WWE & Take-Two Interactive (2K Games, 2K Spots, Visual Concepts Entertainment, YUKES Co) over the use of Orton’s tattoos, which were of her design. The publishers used the designs for Orton’s likeness in the game and did not get her permission. These tattoos include the tribal tattoos on Orton’s forearm, a Bible verse on his arm, a dove, a rose, and a skull.
