During an appearance at the Denver Pop Culture-Con Dave Bautista, officially retired from WWE after his WrestleMania 35 match with Triple H, revealed that he actually went broke following his 2010 exit from the company and subsequently his end as a full-time Superstar.

Dave reveals that he had no initial desires to be an actor but after taking on a role for a friend and being utterly dissatisfied, he wanted to prove himself in the Hollywood landscape.
