Dax Harwood has been very vocal on Twitter today, seemingly criticizing AEW for being snubbed. Additionally, Harwood has continued to reference FTR’s contracts expiring in April.

This all started when the official Twitter account of AEW sent out a series of tweets on Saturday to congratulate several members of its roster for winning Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler wound up winning the Best Tag Team of the Year award, but they didn’t get an official tweet from AEW. While the Briscoes got a mention for winning Best Feud of the Year, FTR weren’t referenced in that tweet. Of course, the latter were involved in that feud.

MJF (Best on Interviews and Most Charismatic), Bryan Danielson (Best Technical Wrestler), Jon Moxley (Wrestler of the Year, US and Canada MVP, and Bruiser Brody Memorial Award), and The Acclaimed (Most Improved) all received tweets from AEW’s Twitter account. But again – nothing for FTR despite the team winning two awards.

Harwood wound up posting several screenshots of the other wrestlers getting specific tweets related to their awards, captioning his post with the following:

“Tell me April’s around the corner without telling me April’s around the corner.”

On his podcast, Harwood has often talked about FTR’s contracts with AEW coming to an end in April. He’s also been adamant that the team is planning to take at least a year off from the independent scene once their contracts expire.
