Dax Harwood may be best known for his work as part of FTR, but the former tag team champion has his sights set on Jon Moxley.
Harwood joined AEW in 2020, a year after Moxley made the jump, and he and Cash Wheeler are former AEW World Tag Team Champions.
On his FTR podcast, Harwood spoke about wanting to face the man with the most AEW World Championship reigns to his name. He said,
“I politicked so much to Tony to allow him [Moxley] and I to work towards the end of the year because I wanted to have a who is the better wrestler in 2022. I’ve worked very hard.
“Just some circumstances got in the way and that never happened. The one experience I had with him in the ring, I absolutely loved it, and I hope 2023 brings forth a match for him and I.”
Harwood and Wheeler are currently on a break from AEW, and it has been reported that their deals with the promotion will expire later this year.
