The current WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar’s contract expires following next year’s WrestleMania from New Orleans. During the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated on if “The Beast Incarnate” will re-sign with the WWE.
Meltzer: “I’m presuming that they’ll keep it going. As far as from [Brock Lesnar’s] perspective, why wouldn’t he? And from [WWE’s] perspective, you don’t know, but they don’t like losing top guys so I would think that they’ll keep him.”
As noted, Lesnar is set to defend his WWE Universal Title against Samoa Joe, this Sunday, at Great Balls Of Fire.
