Fightful Select have some details on Tasha Steelz’ new deal, as she has re-signed with Impact Wrestling.
The report states that Steelz’ new deal is a multi-year contract. Impact were determined not to allow Steelz to hit free agency, and with good reason. The promotion has lost quite a few stars recently, including Eric Young, Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, the Good Brothers, W. Morrissey, The Briscoes, and Tenille Dashwood.
Steelz’ original deal wasn’t set to expire until April 2023, but Dixie Carter’s former promotion have made it a priority to re-up their homegrown talents, and Tasha Steelz certainly fits that bill. The departure of those other stars opened up Impact’s budget and the two sides were able to come to an agreement. The company has also been more open to signing performers to per-appearance deals, or allowing them to work without contracts.
