As seen during this week’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell went on their “honeymoon” following their “wedding” on last week’s show. As you’d expect, Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae were keeping a close eye on the “newly married” couple. InDex’s “honeymoon” took place on a beach in Florida and LeRae and Gargano watched from afar with binoculars.
During the show, two segments aired that featured Gargano getting worried that things between the two were getting too far out of control. In the first segment, Gargano faked them into thinking there was about to be a shark attack.
In the second segment, Gargano made his way into their hotel room and was forced to hide in a closet when InDex unexpectedly returned to the room. At that point, a pillow fight broke out between the two and Gargano, who obviously couldn’t see because he was hiding in a closet, appeared to think they were having sex due to the verbiage being used. Eventually, Gargano exited the closet and he and Lumis gave each other a half-hearted “thumbs up” (ala Orange Cassidy from AEW) and the segment came to a close.
